How Our Network Works

Who you talk to
You talk to an independent provider. That is a local pest control business in our network. Somewhatodd Pest Control makes the introduction. The provider does the inspection, the quote and the work.
We do not list staff names here. The people who visit your home work for the provider you choose. Ask that provider who will come, and what they are licensed to do.
What happens after you send a request
- You describe the problem and your area.
- A provider that serves your area reaches out.
- You talk through what you see and set up a visit if you want one.
- You get a written quote and decide.
How fast you hear back depends on the provider. Many providers can respond quickly, but that is not a promise.
What to ask a provider
Keep these questions handy. Good answers are short and specific.
- Are you licensed for this work in my state? A good answer names the license type. A red flag is a vague "yes, of course."
- What exactly will you treat, and with what? A good answer names the pest and the method. A red flag is "a special mix."
- Is it safe for kids and pets? A good answer explains wait times and prep.
- What is in the quote? A good answer lists scope, price and any repeat visits.
- What happens if the pests return? A good answer explains the follow-up terms in writing.
Walk away if you feel rushed, or if the price changes with no reason.
You are in control
Sending a request does not lock you in. You can say no. You can get a second quote. You can ask for time to think. Get it in writing before any work starts.
Take your time reading the quote. A fair provider will explain each line and will not mind your questions. If an answer feels fuzzy, ask again in simpler words.
